Most of us became fans of Bungie thanks in large part to Halo and it's sequels. Now that Bungie has passed on the torch (and moved on to bigger better things) my question is which game are you more excited for Bungie's new IP Destiny or 343's continuation of the Halo franchise. Just saying after playing Halo 4, I truly feel that Destiny is going to be on a whole different level.

Destiny, no contest. Halo is stale, and while it's not impossible for a stale franchise to be revitalized by a stunning new addition, 343 aren't the team to do it. Both Halo 4 and CEA were textbook examples of phoning it in.

To be honest, I could care less at this point. I just hope Halo 5 does a good campaign and Bungie doesn't introduce me to what sounds like a wonderful new series and then runs it over, handing it's corpse to another developer.

2 回复we will have to see. If destiny turns out to be like a borderlands game then I won't play it much probably. If it has competitive multiplayer as a fps would then I would most likely play it more than Halo 5. The ONLY co-op game so far on the 360 that I've ever played to an extreme amount (and am still playing) is mass effect 3 multiplayer. If destiny was solely co-op only it would have to be something like ME3 for me to really enjoy. Fast pace, challenging enemies, and lots of weapon / character options. What I hope for is Destiny is still a competitive fps like Halo was (I sat was becasue Reach and Halo 4 are not like Halo 1,2 and 3 were) with a new style attached to it. If it turns out be a mmo I probably won't get it. I just can't play mmo's very long before I get bored.

1 回复CEA and H4 were disappointing and the only two things that 343i have created that have impressed me are Origins (from Legends) and the CEA terminals. Everything else has either made me cringe in embarrassment or shake my head in utter confusion. Destiny for me. Bungie has never disappointed me, and they've earned my trust.

Both. I have really high hopes for both titles. I think Halo 5 will be the best of the new trilogy, and I think Destiny will be fantastic in a totally new way. How can I judge? I think probably once they both have trailers I will be able to tell you, but until then I have no idea.

I'm very excited for both. I'm a huge fan of the Halo lore, and Halo multiplayer is really the only online game I've enjoyed. Halo 4 had a short, but excellent campaign, in my opinion, and I'm very much looking forward to the progression of the story. Destiny on the other hand, I know very little about. From what I've heard, it sounds like it'll be great. After what they've put out so far, I'd trust Bungie with nearly anything, so I'm definitely going to be going for both, and I'm glad they won't be coming out at the same time.

10 回复I don't give a flying -blam!- about Destiny. The game is supposed to be released in less than a year (~ 9 months at this point), and Bungie hasn't released shit for information. The leaks don't count, as those were unintended. Their confidence in announcing a game/getting major sales, within one year, is rather arrogant.

2 回复Halo 4 was a slapped together piece of slop that they will never finish. I'll stat playing Destiny once it's released. I think Bungie waking back up with a new game universe is the doom of 343 I.
