EDIT FOR ALL THE IDIOTS WHO COMMENT BEFORE THEY READ THE ACTUAL POST.
Phogoth. Gulrot. Ogres. I know. It's not what I mean when I say thrall boss.
Grow up, open your mind and get imaginative and creative.
Honestly, these guys aren't getting enough love. Hardest ones to kill are (maybe) on a nightfall and they're dying in 2 shots anyway.
Just this big ass thrall commander that's super hard to kill. Maybe one that's not savage and can talk.
What do you think?
Edit 1: I understand ogres are thralls that have been through modification, but you get my idea. No need to get technical.
Edit 2: suggestions: shank boss (walker?), harpy boss (gorgons?)
Keep 'em coming
ATTENTION PLEASE.
Mini dregs flying on shanks. Livinghacker.
That will be all.
Edit: explanation for peoplr who didn't already realise this:
For people saying Phogoth = ogre = thrall. You're trying to be clever but it's not working.
Yes Phogoth = Ogre but Ogre =/= Thrall
Ogre = Modified Thrall, not thrall.
If I modify some potatoes into fries and you ask for a potato would I hand you some fries? No? Then phogoth is not a thrall.
I feel like a huge thrall boss would look awkward... And they basically made ogres and knights to be used as boss templates, because they look powerful. Thralls on the other hand look like squidward with a hunchback. And they are the only enemy in the game without a ranged attack...It would still be cool to see what they could come up with though...

I think what this game needs is more bosses that engage you at close range like skolas, valus trau'ug, and the archon priest. Not like atheon, qodron, gulrot, and urrox where they just sit in a general area and shoot you from a distance where you can just hide behind cover for most of the fight. A fight with a man sized thrall that runs faster than a normal thrall and can follow you anywhere in the room would be pretty fun.

Ogres are Thralls on roids, we don't need a boss one. Sure it would be rather intense to have a boss that actually chased you and tried to melee you the whole time, with not having ledges or bitch corners to sit in to cheese the encounter.

5 回复Thralls are all melee and since all bosses in destiny fire some sort of projectile at you and from a distance how would a thrall boss attack you? Not saying it can't be done I'm just curious as to how it can be done. I would like to see it fa sho!

12 回复This could be an interesting idea. Maybe make a race against time boss. Like there's a Thrall that's about to be evolved into an Ogre the likes of which we've never seen, and it's up to us to prevent that from happening. Like there's a Thrall with Wizards linked to it to evolve it, and we have to kill the Thrall before it becomes and Ogre, and killing Wizards increases the timer. Could be interesting.
