Day #2 Mini-Riddles

These are the mini-riddles for the second day of my weekly event. The scoring system is the same: one answer is one point, two answers equal two points, three answers gets you three points. Who/What are we? [b]Riddle 1:[/b] We are mysterious. Few have seen us and lived to tell the tale. Only one controls us. We are unstoppable. Even the pack kneels before us. We are starlight and darkness and life and death. Our very presence is enough to spread panic. For if there is beauty in destruction, why not also in its delivery? I see the future, a future of my design, much like my name suggests. My friend laughs and teases. But I foresee so much pain.
