Actually, Activision basically IS responsible for issues involving the money... Bungie is responsible for the issues that actually invoke the game. In other words, you're about 95% right

Yes, but the fact that Activision is responsible for issues involving money is due to the fact that Bungie chose to partner with them in the first place. If Bungie doesn't voluntarily choose to partner with them, Activision never has the chance to be in charge of anything.

Touche'... Although, to be honest, that's how all publishers are. Lets just be thankful bungie didn't follow the epic flagship studios fiasco involving the team behind Diablo 2 leaving blizzard to make an amazing game (hellfate: London) only to make one expansion, promise more, and abrubtly close to take everyone's money. No matter how much of a disappointment destiny was, at less bungie didn't take the success of halo to convince players to buy their new game to just take our money and give us nothing... Well, destiny is really fun and still supported anyways..
