So I had an idea today in light of all the complaints regarding the upcoming nerfs. What if Bungie implemented a system so that if a player owns a certain weapon before it's nerfed/buffed, their copy stays the same in terms of stats/perks, but changes from gold "Exotic" to black or red "Banned." Banned weapons would only be usable in PvE, and their descriptions could even be updated to include something like "Tower engineers have determined that this weapon is defective." What do you guys think?
