Wait a second. Someone agree with me here. Since common weapons (Husk of the pit) have a higher chance do drop if your a lower level. Can't I just equip a bunch of crappy gear to become a really low level and then The Drop Rate won't be as bad?

I got it after running fist of crota for maybe an hour, same with my wife. I heard there is a few people that are still glitched out and it won't drop for them. I did it on the harder difficulty if that makes any difference.

Took me 600 kills. I was keeping track of Blade kills on the grimoire card over a week of farming >.<

I got it on a freakin patrol cosmodrome earth killing a level 2 vandal

If Necrochasm was actually good, it would be fine. The problem is that it is one of the hardest weapons to get in the game [i]and[/i] it is [b]terrible[/b].

Alright. I could have predicted that more people would vote to leave the drop rate exactly where it is, which is probably 0%, than to change it to help other people for once. Those people were probably lucky enough to get their Husk before House of Wolves in less than a hundred kills, and therefore see no reason to be considerate and help others out. I would be fine with adding more Blades of Crota back to other areas of the game, but they first need to make the drop rate reasonable/existent again. I have at least 1300 kills on the Blades from the Fist of Crota mission after House of Wolves, and no Husk to show for it. People might come in and say "It still drops, I got it X days ago." However, they always got it within a certain, reasonable number of kills (almost always 200 or less). I have never heard someone say "Oh yeah, took me 1000+ kills to get that gun." This leads me to believe that the drop is, at the very least, glitched for a certain number of accounts, and may be linked to some unknown factor. At one point, I thought it might be that it cannot drop for people who are above a certain level, but I'm fairly certain that this isn't the case, but I still firmly believe that there is some variable preventing many from getting the drop.

Wow, you literally have 1086 Blade of Crota kills.... Damn.. I have 264 kills (i think it was when i checked 5 seconds ago, but still forgot the exact number.) But i have gotten 7 husks in total.. Well, that's RNG... Damn.. Took me 54 Crota hardmode completitions before i got my first Crux though..

Bungie should up the spawn rate, add more Blades, or let Eris sell it. Or, if they aren't going to change anything, just eliminate the embalming orb being sold and crux being dropped, because it seems near to impossible to find a husk anymore anyway, so why bother giving players a false hope of Necrochasm? Also, so what if Necrochasm sucks? I want it just to say "hey, I got a Necrochasm!" and get the grimiore card. Maybe you have it and don't care, but I want it no matter how much you don't want me to have it.

People are still trying to get this? Necro sucks, save your time and try to get all 3 Cipher guns, at least they're fun.

Why would you even care or kill 1000+ blades?? eidolon ally and necrochasm are both horrible guns and are in no way worth that amount of effort

Its pointless trying to get it, the necrochasm is considered the worse/most useless of exotics. Its in the no land beyond tier of bad for PvE. And for PvP might as well go melee only with no subclass.

I have a husk and i do think the chances are slim. Eris should sell it for rank 1
