I agree OP, thing is, this bungie doesn't give a crap about anyone, that's why i quit playing. They are using the "reward" as a way to get people to buy the DLC which is what you stated of course, and spot on too.

It is pretty sad. After the mega fail TTK reveal vid I logged out and haven't played since. Just can't bring myself to eat at some digital pig trough where my handlers just can't wait to consume me. Just not a good vibe bungie is putting out - compare project red or blizzard with Diablo...
