I disagree. The Suros was as prevalent as TLW/thorn combined. The only different was the other guns were more diverse - it wasn't almost all vex and red death then.
I've used Hawkmoon the most since I got it in December, but I also like the messenger/3lw and MIDA. I just wish scouts had a slightly higher base damage.

And don't worry about messenger - it's almost identical to 3LW unless you get an adept. I was trading kills across the map with a dude using 3LW yesterday. Was kinda funny how even the guns are.
