The title says it all. "Are gunslingers going extinct in PvP?"
The amount of time I put into PvP I rarely run into any gunslingers. Not saying we don't exist just that there are less and less of us In PvP anymore.

2 回复Is this a joke lol? Gunslinger is arguably the best subclass to use in PvP and the statistics show that Hunters outperform other classes within the Crucible by a significant margin.

4 回复Gunslinger through and through. PvE and PvP and PoE. Even if you tell me to go invisible to revive you, I'll just risk it for the biscuit and stay on my Gunslinger. XD

I love the Gunslinger, and I can't stand the blade dancer. Literally the only time I played as a Blade dancer is when I would sword bear on Hard Crota before HoW. I think we're an endangered species, but we're not out of this fight yet.

1 回复New players think that their second class is "more advanced" or "I have my new class and you don't." This I feel is wrong. Hunters simply have to find what their play style is. I personally use a little of both. I use a lot of bladedancer in PVE because of cloaking and when I am being mobbed by melee enemies, I use arc blade. I recently use it a lot more in PvP. Still, gunslinger is my go-to PvP subclass. The long range stopping power of golden gun with the throwing knife makes it a Call of Duty class
check out some of my forums
1 回复I swap between them but I actually like using Gunslinger for control, depending on the map of course. Run the Symbiote helm and combustion, catch 3-4 people taking a control point and you can wipe them all out even if they're using a Titan bubble.

由Xone编辑: 7/3/2015 3:40:34 PMLook at me Hunter, he's averaging 17 kills a match in Iron Banner, because throwing knives are incredible :) and I'm usually matched with fellow Gunslingers too, so we literally burn away the competition I'll admit, Bladedancer has more of an advantage in close quarters map, with shotty and Blink Strike, but I've got more of a stronger feel with Gunslinger

3 回复Depends on the map, like on anomaly, it's more efficient to be a shotgun tank as a bladedancer. Gg is harder to use on a very small map

I used to be nothing but blade dancer and stayed far away from PVP. I recently got into PVP and now I prefer gunslinger. Super with range, that oh so sweet chain of woe and gunslinger trance that makes my shots steady and reload fast, and the fun of the throwing knife.

Yes... I use to enjoy playing as my hunter... Whatever Bungie did to the hunters makes them weak.... Before anyone starts ranting, when I say weak... go into Iron banner with your hunter now before you start the match set you armor all the way down the lowest it will go... When you do this match got head to head in the open with your opponents, keep charging and play hard but for this test do run away or hide to let your shield recharge. Pay attention to how many shots you can take to get you to red and or kill you and your speed.... Now next match do the opposite, set you armor all the way up and do same, paying attention to the same things..... If you did head to head with out running and hiding or jumping to avoid shots or stay alive you should have notice.... Nothing.... It is the same in PVE too, the armor options feel just as worthless and the icebreaker with the scopes that don't changes stats or benefit you any different from the others. I do remember hearing about Bungie needing the blade dancers health while blade dancing and I can tell that, it's sucks, but as we all know when Bungie goes to nerf one thing they tend to screw up A LOT more leaving bugs and glitch that benefit the enemy's, but that's a whole nots poop sandwich we are always left with....
