So at the moment i am really hyped for Halo 5. After listening to Hunt The Truth, and watching 343i's Conference at E3 i decided to read some Halo lore.
I have only played Halo 4, so i think that it would be Nice to learn and play the story from the beginning.
Anyways, so do you think i should buy it and play through it before Halo 5?
EDIT: alright, seems like everybody think i should buy it, so thats exactly what i have :) will be playing it tomorrow, thanks for all the replies guys!
EDIT2: thanks for all the help and replies guys! Never thought i would get so many replies lol. Going to bed now, gonna check back here tomorrow, and ask more questions lol.
Anyways, thank you all
EDIT3: Bought the game, along with two books(The Fall of Reach and First Strike)

You definitely need to get it. If you've only played halo 4 you haven't even got the full experience yet. Take it from the man with a decade of halo experience on his back. Play all the campaigns in the mcc before playing halo 5. Got it?

I'm 18 and I've been playing Halo since I was 4 years old. It's still my favorite FPS. If you have never played the other ones then yes it would be a very good decision to get MCC, I have it myself and I don't play it much because of Destiny but still you should get it :)

10 回复The MCC was made partly to bring fans up to speed on the Chief's story for Halo 5. So, yeah I would definitely get it in your position. If you have $5 left over after buying it, be sure to pick up the Halo 3: ODST expansion for it! It'll get you familiar with Buck, a member of Fireteam Osiris in Halo 5.

2 回复I was in a party with 5 guys that have bought it and asked if I wanted to join their game when they start playing it and I said that it was a game I have had no interest in ever wanting to own. They all pretty much said that they wished that thought like I did. So from that they all started talking about why the game is still so shittastic. Even with all the "fixes" they all seemed to still hate and think the majority of the game is shit. I do believe the single player works though. Never have heard anyone complain about single player yet. But who buys a halo game for the single player (I know a lot of people do an I might get halo 5 just for the story but probably skipping on that as well). So, if you are purely going to play multiplayer I would have to say stay very far away but if you want to relive the single player then go for it. Also, before you start bashing me for hating on a game that I have never played I will say that listening to 7 guys scream into their mics just due to mcc multiplayer disconnects an not even working/ connecting and having to reconnect and still not work and so forth is why I will never want to play this game.

Yep it's definitely worth it. Multiplayer works way better than it used to but believe me when I say there are still a good amount of problems. Single player works like a charm though and all the games look and play great. The storyline is the best in terms of fps games. So definitely pick it up if you can.

1 回复You've only played Halo 4??! Get out of here and don't come back until you've bought and completed Halo MCC
-
1 回复It is 4 games in one (with a remastered Halo 2). The multiplayer works now, and it is a blast to fight across all 4 games. I found it worth the buy. Also, many community carnage games are in the MCC.

3 回复I was just playing live last night because one of my friends asked me to and I have to say I was actually having fun. I was just running around assassinating people and stuff it was awesome. And of course having halo 1,2,3,3ODST, and 4 on the same disk is awesome too that's why I bought it.
