I hope that no one else ever has to say that sentence or had too. My school had snow days so I'm late to the summer party and I REALLY just want to play Dark Souls 2 for the 8 weeks of freedom I get. But then my reading teacher gives the 7th grade classes homework over summer break, in my opinion,(yes I know this is the internet no one cares about my opinion) is just -blam!-ing bullshit. Gave us work over thanksgiving. Work over winter break. Project over spring break. But now... the one school year where I have never before been so eager for summer break to come by(because my classmates are what op is) is now burdened with the thought of working over that time. She says that she knows we have things to do, plans and such(camping, art classes, etc. although I almost never have plans) and yet this is our homework: [spoiler]1000 minutes of stride academy (school site) Read 5 books and do book reports on them Creatively show the meaning of grit and perseverance (wordle, vocabstagram, etc. also it took a lot of that for this school year ironically)[/spoiler] Yet we get all of this crap. I wanted to go praise the sun this summer, appreciating its glorious light, and how grossly incandescent it is. But now I can't, because I'll be staring at a computer screen for a thousand minutes indoors.(I admit I was going to be indoors anyway but I would still praise the sun) Anyways, my summer will probably suck.
