Did Bungie lie about what Destiny would be?

If you want to follow the highway to see where it goes, you can" *gets game, tries to follow highway, hits invisible wall, dies* (Talking about random drops) "yeah if you and your friend both get something you've already got, yo can trade it" *no player trading in game* (Talking about different in game environments) "You can go from Earth to the moon, to Mars, to Saturn, Venus and Mercury" *no Mercury or Saturn* (Looking at hive writing on the moon) "your gonna know exactly what that says and what it means" *plays entire game, reads grimoire, still no clue what it means* (Talking about weapons and armour) "you'll know the story behind every piece of equipment, where it came from, who made it, where it's been- the story behind it" * has hundreds of different weapons and armour, no idea where any of it came from* Taken from the case- "Rich cinematic storyline and open world gameplay" *only half a dozen cutscenes in the whole game, large areas locked out, even after completing the levels in story mode* Yeah, bungie lied. They lied big.

"Subject to change" should not enable you to tell your players what they will be getting, and then change it all at the last second. Funny I came across this thread, I've been watching a few Destiny trailers and ViDocs from the past year, and it's crazy to see just how much they not only kept out of the game, but how much was reserved for locked DLC. I'm fairly certain that making this game took little to no effort on Bungie's part. All they had to do was make shit, repetitive content and implement a crude RNG system, then gear it toward the MMO/FPS playerbases respectively. Destiny was a scam, not a game. Easiest cash cow for Activision since CoD.
