After the stellar launch of HoW I've been thinking of ways to show Bungie my appreciation.
My girlfriend and I are expecting a baby girl in 2 months. Having discussed what to name her it suddenly struck me. What better way to celebrate two fantastic occasions in my life than by naming her Petra after the HoW quest giver!
My other half has been spending all her time on Witcher 3 however, and is optioning the name of Yennefer for reasons unknown.
What do you people think? Christen my first born in honor of the Bungie Gods? Perhaps wait till Comet in case of more awesomeness? Or go with this Yennefer suggestion?
Edit. Thanks for the replies guys!

Petra is a real name atleast. I say if you and your Girlfriend do name your daughter either of the two, I say Petra. But please please please, make sure you are ok with your child being named after a videogame for atleast the next many years. But who knows, maybe your daughter will think its cool.

由PennyRoyal77编辑: 6/2/2015 6:49:43 PMI think naming her Petra sounds nice as long as both you and your wife take the fact that she was named after a video game to your graves, hidden even from Petra herself. I personally prefer the name, Vanguard Quartermaster. Edit: Yennefer or whatever is flat-out horrible and sounds like Jennifer with a speech impediment. I can't condone child abuse.

5 回复To me naming a child from a game or by the compass just spins my head. Why not find a family name to honor that person instead of honoring pixels.
