They removed checkpoints from POE to prevent checkpoint abuse. They dont want players sharing checkpoints like they do in the raids. All bungie has to do to enable poe checkpoints is require you to already have the checkpoint to be able to rejoin at that checkpoint. Have the checkpoint, you can join. Dont have the checkpoint you can not join. . . . . . Simples!!! Not sure they will add this though, as making players restart from the beginning artificially increases the play time stats that they like to boast about.

Agree that there should be checkpoints. It's not about whether ppl are good enough but sometimes don't have time

agreed, 34 and 35 PoE need checkpoints, its rediculous, I gave up on skolas after about 3 hours of failing over and over
