COD should it die?
So should COD die? Did anyone play COD kangaroo's or AW as it's also know? Has Sledgehammer lost it? [spoiler]Like they ever had it MW3 was tripe.[/spoiler]
COD MP died for some after COD 4, MW2 or Black Ops 2 depending on opinions.
COD had its roll to play in forming the FPS genre but does it still have one now?

4 回复I don't think it has to die, the developers just have to step it up and stop going so far in the future. It'll be the year 3238 in a few COD games. They also have to find a way to get rid of all the squeakers.

Pump action and double barrel shotguns. No crossbows. No throwing knives. Large maps. C4 or bazookas are perks. Bring it back to a simple, balanced multiplayer that plays at the smooth pace it used to. Make it next gen only too, and youve got a call of duty game that could wreck a lot of modern FPSs

3 回复If I would have seen this post yesterday, I would have said to let it die... .. But I started playing the Black Ops 3 Beta on PC and I actually enjoy it... It almost makes me sick to say I like a CoD game... But nonetheless, it is true...

Honestly. Call of Duty has been dead to me since MW3 dropped. Absolutely despised it's multiplayer and campaign, BO2 didn't introduce anything good, campaign had a little customisation and different endings but that was just it. Zombies felt too drawn out, too big. That's just me though, I much prefer smaller to Medium Zombie maps. Ghosts was Ghosts, pure example of horse beating. Rubbish game and one of the worst in the series. Advanced Warfare introduced a new concept- the Exos but they were goddamn annoying and it was way too easy to avoid things. Not to mention how you'd die practically instantly in AW, CoD has never been great on this but Jesus Christ AW's TTK is beyond ridiculous. I'm just hoping Black OPs 3 can provide a more refreshing feeling to the series, if it doesn't? Maybe another one can but I'll give up on hoping that after the next 3 games that come out. So honestly? No, CoD shouldn't die yet. There's a chance it can change a lot and I'm willing to give that a shot.

No, if people like it than more power to them. I gotta say though that while it is ok( BO3 beta). I find it less interesting than it used to be for me. I mean it seems ok but it is not as good as Titanfall. It feels like it's trying to hard.

2 回复The latest beta is fantastic (on ps4 anyway, can't say about anything else); but treyarch have always been the best cod developers. I'll probably just get their version every 3 years or so.

I feel like Activision should only work with treyarch this is this best game they've produced in 3yrs n AW,Ghost were 2 of the worst cods ever made by infity ward and now they took on sledgehammer bc thr aw was so great no lol now we will be waiting 3yrs for treyarchs cod
