Hey guys here is a quick video focusing on the help that Variks offers in the Prison of Elders. Also dive into some scorch cannon gameplay and the different firemodes it has. This is based on my observation and not confirmed via testing as I have not been able to play House of Wolves yet. The Scorch Cannon can either detonate on impact or stick to it's target and detonate at a later time also adding a damage over time and more damage...This is what I've seen and also in the video above. Would love to here other's thoughts
