We'd been dating a little under a year, she was with me for a trip to Canada, waited for me in Basic, Tech School, and we broke up today because I couldn't give her what she needed from a relationship. It was mutual, we sat down and talked it out, and we found that she wanted more out of it than me, but she didn't want to lose me. It ended with a joke and a laugh, so I can't complain.
