Math was always my best, I took two years of calculus in high school, although writing proofs sucks. Can't stand writing classes mostly because I am seriously anti-social, I have selective mutism, and the way they are run doesn't help. History is nice because I can sleep through those classes, they just go over the textbook, and still get an A.
Between the two subjects, I'd say English. English is far more interesting in my opinion. I love word play, plays, the stories that emerge. Its a great subject that I enjoyed. Really, it is an enjoyable subject so long as you have a positive attitude about it. Same applies to math, but math is far more tedious. Though I must admit, history is fun too!
Although apparently I'm pretty good at the critical thinking part of English (which I'm not a big fan of), and really good at grammar/usage and mechanics, I think math is by far my best subject, which I also enjoy.
I preferred math in high school but some of my close friends are writers and as I've gotten older I've become more and more mesmerized with the art of language, in this case the English language.
That being said, math is still pretty damned cool if you understand it.
