Is it just me or does the update from yesterday say that only new van and crucible weapons can be reforged? I seem to remember seeing deej regorge his shadow price in the stream amd that's not a new weapon

Sorry if it's already been answered There are two new perks that have been explained (names may be wrong) ascend and Reforge ready All legendary gear in game will receive ascend, while new tower gear will receive ascend and Reforge ready. Ascend brings it up to the possibility of 34/365 Reforge ready means it's reforgable

Only new weapons can be reforged, but all legendaries and exotics can be upgraded. Upgrading increases the damage while keeping all the perks and experience, whereas reforging 'rerolls' the weapon and gives you a new one with different perks that needs levelling again from scratch.
