So you think most Destiny players can afford this idea? You think that with rising prices in certain areas of the world like NYC where I am doesn't affect this? You think making rent, utilities, child support or family support or college costs don't play into all this brother?
You are daft. What were you on when you guys were coming up with this nonsense. The older gen thing is very well known. By Destiny 2 they will have to stop supporting older gen consoles in order to progress. The cost of getting a new gen won't be easy for some. For me - I already have a PS4 but if I didn't I would understand the angst about that issue too.
Pay as you go is just wrong. Bungie is on a $500 Billion budget! That is significant enough. They have Activision which is loaded and don't get me started on Sony and of course the gigantic Microsoft. They can all afford to keep this game going forward without this craziness.

thanks man i like hearing both sides as i kinda play both sides to here pros and cons and what ppl have to say. i hope u took no offense to the subjuct as i like having civil post without trolling lol. yeah i agree as two faced as it sounds but im a dev so i try to think how u could take a game make it better but the truth is at the end of the day the corp is making the money and teasing ppl to open up their wallet to give more and more for less. be nice if the games where public so all coders etc could play the game they love and charge an equal price to the fans. but big corps want their 99 percent profit to stay the 1 percenters. lets face it they own and try to control us. but im dreaming here so we can imagine what we like to have right. again thanks for the input and time.
