So they are just gone from patrols...for good or is it a bug that will eventually be patched?

Me neither, I noticed when patrolling Earth the other day that I didn't see any notifications about Blades for quite a while. I didn't read this anywhere and Eris is still providing the earth bounties, bad communication Bungie
