PvE: 1. Hawkmoon - It has a great combination of speed precision and damage, just great overall. 2. Fatebringer - I mean it's Fatebringer, there's not much more to say. 3. The Last Word - Unless your fighting a bunch of low tier enemies or you're a hunter with chain of woe and gunslinger's trance, the gun's reload and small magazine can, (and probably will,) get you killed. PvP: 1. The Last Word - It's not that hard to single another player out for a 1v1 engagement, (in which the last word reigns supreme,) and if another player enters the fray to make it a 2v1 engagement one may always disengage. (The Last Word can actually be used for 2v1 engagements effectively in skilled hands, but any more than that would require the use of ALL a guardians abilities.) 2. Hawkmoon - It has a great set of perks that can just wreck in PvP, add that to the fact that without the perks it can still drop someone like a fly, and it's a great go to weapon. (I perform better with an agressive weapon like the Last Word, which is why I use it over Hawkmoon.) 3. Fatebringer - If you don't have either of the aforementioned guns then sure, Fatebringer... Although I'd use Thorne before I use Fatebringer.
