After almost 8 months passed since the game came out and i still know nothing of Destiny, its characters or even wtf are the aliens we fight...
Thanks Bungie! you made a very easy to understand game and awesome story! #sarcasm
so whos Orisis again? thought its a PvP thing only and not actually a character #SMHatbungie

Osiris is the one who discovered about the Hive God Oryx, who is the father of Crota. Also, on one of the Vault of Glass Warlock raid gear, it states that "he was too close to be fully understanding the Vex." So he thoroughly studied the forces of the darkness, and was presumably inside the vault of glass with Praedyth, Pahanin and Kabr. He was exiled for doing so.(probably because the newfound knowledge was too much for the Tower's leaders to comprehend.) He also has a PvP event named Trials of Osiris, which will hopefully let us learn more in depth about Osiris. Finally, the last bit of info I have on him is that he has a recording at the introduction of the Shrine of Oryx mission.
