Because when thousands upon thousands of fireteams are reducing the amount of time it takes to breeze through PvE content after the Gjallarhorn was handed to them like candy, it may put the weapon's power in danger of being nerfed. Of course, this is speaking in the event that Xur sells it. I would certainly like it if people found it through RNG, but having it freely handed over to a million+ Guardians may have repercussions. Yes, this is a PvE issue and not PvP related, but Bungie has proven that they'll nerf things into the floor at the drop of a hat.

If you have a cool toy and people are jealous because they dont have it, it makes you feel special. Thats it bro. The mentality of a 5 yr old. Thats why people cry about xur selling it. They can try and say the game will be too easy, or that more people will quit destiny once they get it, but thats bullshit. They just dont want everyone to have the shiny toy they have. Wish i could offer you a better reason, but i thought telling the truth would be more apropriate.

I have 2 now... But I hope they sell it soon because it will give me a week or so of drama tears I can read on here by kids under 16 crying about there snowflakes.
