So you've touched legal drugs? Alcohol and cigarettes are more of a poison, so are lots of pharma drugs.

What about pharma? Pills are the worst, worse than heroin imo. So what's with the hate? I smoke a little pot (no cigs ever) and drink a little alcohol in moderation. Is it healthy? No. I'm self medicating myself (stress, insomnia) and I think in moderation it's healthier than going to my doctor and getting prescribed whatever pill he/she gets the biggest kickback for. Then another pill for the side effects, and more pills and so on. I know lots of people who have ruined their lives with other drugs (and gambling) but never with moderate pot and alcohol use alone.

Potentially it can, depends on the strain and how your body chemistry reacts to the chemistry of the particular strain. Also depends on how it's grown, how it's dried, whether you smoke or ingest it, and how much you smoke or ingest. Lots of variables but I've found it helps with a few minor health conditions I have.
