Red death being sold makes you mad?
Why are you mad that red death is being sold? Now people can be useful on crota hard.
Edit: I'm happy to see none of the people posting so far are salty. Everyone seems to either not care, or truly appreciate Xur selling it.
Edit2: seems like everyone is pretty content with him selling it! I see lots seeing it good because it benefits raid teams!

Honestly it's not even an arguable thing. You don't earn it through anything but Xur. That's it. It's over.
If you grind ROC or Crucible for it, then it's grind. Not earn.
If you get the strange coins necessary for purchase, it's earned.
Ex: if you're walking down the street and you find a 20$ Bill, you didn't earn it. You found it.
If you see a video game you want, and you work on something in order to obtain the money needed to buy it, then it's earned.

Doesn't matter to me. I didn't own one so I loved how they sold it, now I own a gally and if they sold one of those I still wouldn't care. I didn't pick to get the gally on a random drop so I don't see why people should be pissed that I'm buying a red death. When there is no 100% way to guarantee I get one. I could put 1500 hours + and still not receive one as a drop.

For me, I'm glad Xur sold red death. I actually got it in a nightfall raid before the Crota hard mode came out. But stupid me I thought I would never need to use it, so I broke it down for the exotic shard. Then hard mode Crota came out with no health regen, big regret...so, now I can redeem my mistake by purchasing it. Honestly, it's better than seeing no land beyond for the 400th time! LMAO!!!

2 回复Everyone who is mad about Xur selling it is mad because it was one weapon that made them feel special because so few people had it. I've raided many times and done the nightfall many many times and got so many duplicates or crappy rewards. I never had the LUCK required to "win" it. Rather, I played the weekly heroic strike every week to EARN the coins I bought it with.

It cracks me up to see all the saltines up in arms about the sale of red death, they act like they have never bought any thing from Xur, i fall in the i dont get exotic drops group, i can probably count on one hand the amount of exotic drops ive gotten, so when i get up friday morning and see Xur has something good or something i know won't drop for me otherwise. I'm fricken pumped! I Xurned it baby and i love it!

8 回复They're all earned. They all take time and effort. Your analogy is flawed, it's more like you go to work and sometimes you get paid and can buy what you want, sometimes you get given what you want and sometimes you get -blam!- all. Just because you know what you're getting when buying doesn't devalue the time and effort put it when RNG rewards you (be it with a good drop or a bad one).

The real reason people are wary is because Red Death is in danger of suffering the same fate. I know you guys want to be all like "U MAD BRAH XUR SOLD RED DEATH DERP XD", but there may be some actual repercussions here.

Now I see posts from the same people crying that Xur is selling it for the third time. How it's making the gun less rare and will ruin Crota's End and PvP, leading to a nerf. 5 回复Just making the gun way less rare that's all. It pisses a lot of people off. I wish there was a set of guns that weren't sold by xur at all, like the raid exotics. That would solve all this hate and disagreement
