I have lots of friends and have seen randoms who are male and play as female characters. I myself, just made a female hunter (I now have two characters in total, 1st being my male titan)
Soooo, I was just wondering if it was weird to do this. I used to think it was, but eh, whatever, it changes things up a bit.
Edit 1: Thanks for all the replies! I myself do not care about what people do, I mean it's their choice whether to pick a boy or a girl, I just wanted to see other people's opinions.
Edit 2: I did not know this post came up, every once in a while. Sorry if I bothered some of you. :b

if you are a guy, go to school or work or to a largely populated place dressed in ladies clothes and see how you feel. it doesnt matter if its just a game its the principle unless you inside feel as though you were meant to be born as a different sex. you dont see your character 90% of the game so preferring to look at a female character is not a reason, prefering a different dance or sitting position is just stupid, and the characters are exactly the same deej already explained this when people tried to suggest that female characters had a smaller hit box but they are exactly the same. technically it is just a game so if you want to dress up like a lady by all means go ahead

由Miharu_Tansho编辑: 3/3/2015 2:47:30 PMNo. My wife named her console, the name sounds feminine. So characters are made to match. It gets peculiar if someone also pretends to be a girl too though. Also, it seems that video game companies know how to make a female form and facial features that are visually normal/appealing. Not so with masculine forms and features. I won't have a butt chin, even virtually, and felt like the male hunter model should have been slimmer, like more endurance athletes, not a body builder in space tights.

I have never understood why so many people think it's weird for guys to play as female characters and vice versa. I'm a guy and I personally love women. And if I'm playing a game where I look at my character for 100s of hours, I'd like to look at a female model instead of a male model. I see nothing weird there. That actually seems more normal.

How often have I played a Crucible match and when my team transmat in I've found that my character is the only female one? Too many bloody times, that's what! If some of us didn't make female characters there would be hardly any female Guardians at all.

1 回复Women are people too. Being able to relate to more than one gender is a good thing. Plus if this was weird tomb raider, metroid, and portal would not be played by large portions of the gaming community.

I made a female char so I could hear what the woman voice actor sounded like. She's a bit bland while the dude is a bit too cock-sure. I prefer the dude because he feels like he has more character even when saying the exact same lines, but it can get grating every once and a while.
