Idea: Faction Event Event covers several different competion over the period of a week (or two). Points are totaled for each Faction (New Monarchy, Dead Orbit, and Future War Cult). To participate, a guardian must wear a Faction Hunter Cloak, Titan Mark, or Warlock Bond. Points from each competition are totaled by event and an overall total. Fireteams and matchmaking (where available) must be from the same faction. 1. Faction PvP. Win = 20 points, Loss = 5 points. Every member of the winning faction that participated wins special gear. 2. Faction Story. Every story mission earns points equal to its level. Completing all story missions earns extra 100 points (may be done multiple times). Every member of the winning faction that participated wins special gear. 3. Faction Strikes. Each strike completed earns points equal to the strike level + 20 points. Completing all 7 strikes (includes Daily Heroic, Weekly Heroic, and Nightfall) earns an extra 100 points (can only be earned only once by guardian). Every member of the winning faction that participated wins special gear. 4. Faction Raids. Each raid earns double the level of the raid. Completing all raids (normal and hard) earns 100 additional points (can be earned only once by guardian).Every member of the winning faction that participated wins special gear. 5. Faction Overall Event Winners: The Faction with the most points at the end of the event, from all 4 competitions above, is the overall faction winner.
