Because kotaku is the only reviewer saying that right? You know IGN, Metacritic and many more reviewers are saying the same.
If you want to buy it go do it no one is stopping you. But the game was ill-received by those looking foward it and it didn't deliver. A 5 hour QTE game is worth $60 to you then be my guest and waste money in it.
And on your stance of GoW, you know God of War actually had gameplay (unless you forgot combos exist in that game).

Yes, I just used Kotaku as an example. I've also seen 8-9/10's as well, but mostly from reviewers that don't require under-the-table pay. You're also making it sound as if I'm saying GoW was all QTE, but it may as well of been I suppose.
