Tried soloing Crota myself recently. Managed the first bit fine. Couldn't work out how to do the second bridge though as all the videos on youtube were pre-patch and didn't work.

You have to keep moving on and off the bridge plate not to activate the totems but still build the bridge. It's doable I did it last week up to crota. Only awkward bit I'd doing that whilst killing the sword bearer. I would of done crota too but I didn't have the heavy ammo. You should watch the legend himself solo the entire hard mode raid. It's amazing really

That's why I put this up I tried jumping the casm with my mates Tuesday night. We tried all 3 classes and no one could make it. We just dropped mid way. I figured it had been patched and was curious how one would now do it?

i am busy soloing it normal mode. Started recently and for now the next challenge is Ir Yut. For now after patch there are still different youtube vids on jumping across with hunter/ warlock/ titan that work. It is harder than appears from the various vids (it all looks so easy) but either jumping the left rocks or the right rock have their own problems but still doable as hunter (gunslinger). Jumping with warlock is much easier for bridge section. I will also try to form the bridge legit but need to get used to the timing of building bridge and fighting swordbearer. Good luck!

I tried a few different methods. All copied off YouTube vids however I auto died when reachng certain spots that didn't affect the youtuber. I tried jumping and swording across the bridge, then swording both left and right to the small rocks. Neither way worked as I just died when swording away from the bridge. Another way was to sword off the highest point of the towers on the left with Hunter's triple jump. Two jumps for initial height, sword across to the bridge then another jump for height, turn left and sword to the bridge. Again I died when reaching the (unformed) bridge. I had the most luck by building the bridge a bit at a time and jumping off middle plate [i]just[/i] before annihilator totem kicks in. Then repeating until there is enough bridge to get across with the sword. I had a few goes but didn't have the patience required! Will try again at some point though.

Yeah it is its all about getting a rhythm if you practice a few times you'll get it. I've you have the rhythm then it's easy just takes a few attempts. I prefer to just 2 man the normal crota raid. It means it's less likely for deaths on crota and it just gives a bit more room for error. Easyer than getting 6 people to do it haha.
