Really though, they're shaped like it, and few people i know eat pears. Most think they're gross, and some have never had one. It's like they're the weird rejected fat kid of the fruit family. Maybe they're like that on purpose so nothing would want to eat them? Some apple probably grew seeds with one too many chromosomes, and from those retard seeds came a new type of retarded apple, known as a pear. But seriously, wtf pears quit being so damn fat and weird.
