It's Victorian Souls, pretty much. And whilst I know there are a lot of Souls fans, I'm not seeing how this does anything different, excepting the aesthetic.
Is that enough? I mean, I'm not a Souls fan, and I know Dark I has a cult following because of its (artificial) difficulty and cryptic lore, but is a reskinned Souls enough to warrant Uncharted 4-tier hype? People reckon this could be Sony's GotY.

2 回复Why say artificial difficulty? This technically the 4th souls type game. I'm a huge souls fan and I'm even worried a bit that it might be too much of the same even with the emphasis on more aggressive combat mechanics.

4 回复Definitely not artificial difficulty..... That implies that it's hard only because enemies have a lot if health/hit harder than you. Only somebody who doesn't understand the basic mechanics of the game would say this.

4 回复Play style should be significantly different since there is no armor and no shields to hide behind to read boss patterns

5 回复Possible beast transformations have me into this, plus ive wanted a good van hellsing themed game for a long rime now. However, the lore is the real game seller for me. Fvck, if soul sacrifice 2 got announced right now u can bet i would be all over that sh!t!!! Soul sacrifice has a more straight forward lore but its so god damn well writen! Evey boss's lore makes u feel a bit of pity twards them. Anyway, the gameplay in bloodborne intrigues me and i really wanna see what things they do with it. Im calling it! There is ganna be a thing that stops hp recovery attacks for those who seek a greater challange! Probably a ring, i hope rings are still a thing, gatta role in dat bling y'know?
