Your reaction when you got No Land Beyond as a drop
So tonight I was doing through Crota on normal and my group was just shredding everything.
Lamps cleared first try, bridge cleared first try, skriekers downed and got the chest no problem. At this point I had only gotten deathsingers grips and shards so I figured I had to have something good coming down the tube. We down the deathsinger and I'm waiting for my drop. I'm thinking oh man show me a raid chest. The spinning square pops up and rights itself showing me I didn't get a chest or the fabled gjallerhorn but no land beyond.......
All I could think of was how much I wanted to take out the game disk and snap it in half. My group loved it and pulled out all theirs and started talking about all the trick shots they had done and how they each got theirs. We went on to clear Crota and I got the ship and more shards. Thanks rng for making the run worth while. I HATE YOU!
Since it was fun to just hear about everyone's reaction in my group to when they got their no land beyond, i thought I'd drop a thread and try to find the best no land beyond drop story and all the rage that came with it.

2 回复Well in one of last week raids: Player 5 ask me and another to join because they were struggling with dps for the last hour+ and needed our Ghorns We got him in one (which always feels awesome) Player 1 fang Player 2 fang Player 3 crux Player 4 word and hardlight Me fang, and ghorn Player 5 No land beyond and shards He was livid. We couldn't get him to stop swearing. He completely had a meltdown to the point some of the group claim he was crying (I couldn't tell but I have a hard time understanding sqeekers sometimes) he swore he was done with destiny and since then I haven't seen him on all last week to now. I think it broke him in a bad way.

I only had one drop. My initial reaction was "Exotic" :D Then I saw it was NLB. I thought something sweary then figured, well at least I got an exotic, I might as well give it a go. And I'm glad I did as the thing is pretty good fun. I use it on patrol to get headshot bounties. I was on Forgotten Shore the other day and some lad saw me using it to snipe enemies and thought he'd sit next to me with Thorn and try to show me up. He failed. I could take the enemy out better with NLB than he could with Thorn, even when he tried running into where a group was and killing them closer up. It earned me a wave and a dance lol Basically what I'm trying to say is that all guns are situational and exotics can be fun even if they're not all there to destroy huge hordes of enemies in one shot. Enjoy the gun for what it is. I'll keep mine and I'm still levelling it. Any more I will shard though.
