I have been playing online games since Everquest and have never seen such a horrible bunch of people. It is getting a bit out of hand around here and it is pretty sad. At the end of the day it's just a game and we should all be here to better the game and help each other out. Most people are full of shit anyway when they go spurting off at the mouth and it's because they have the safety that comes with looking at a monitor and not a person's face. I also think that a lot of people act this way because they've never been punched in the %@#$ing mouth for steadily talking shit to everyone. Oh well, what are you gonna do? Everything changes and the "old days" are long gone.

Good points. I feel it would be a lot more constructive if 50% of the population didn't play this game out of habit now and aren't having fun with it anymore. If you've grinded the crap out of crucible and have at least 2 32 characters pretty much all you see is the problems with this game. It's become a chore to log on and do stuff. What's the point of doing weekly heroics anymore? Xur doesn't sell shit anyway. I have enough coins to buy the only shit I do need for the next 6 months pending he sells anything I even need in that time period. Crucible is a lag fest where we all run around w secondary weapons topping off our special ammo at every death. Literally available after every death or very shortly thereafter. Radar curtails to one hit wonder guns. You can't flank anyone unless they're afk or hardscoping the shit out of someone else / grabbing heavy ammo and even then w heavy ammo they know where your coming from it's just a race to get there first and see if you're able to equip it faster then the other guy. Unless your there 1 minute early camping the ammo invisible in the corner with your hunter waiting for others to show up. Then you run out take 2 people down before you get a melee beat down for playing like such a homosexual. And no my problem isn't with hunters or homosexuals. This is just how I'm expressing my frustration right now. I have a hunter and like playing him. Only I don't sit there at entrances or corners invisible waiting for someone to walk by. Lastly we have raids. Been running crota since normal came out and hard came out. 1 helmet. I have one helmet from all 3 characters. I don't need the helm because I have all exotic helms, however when I'm told loot drops will be better and I go in there week 1 and get chest arms legs for warlock. Then it's 7 weeks later and still no helm? I've gotten the same gun at least 4 times. I've gotten energy whenever I needed shards and shards whenever I need energy. This RNG feels like the law of diminishing returns. Simply stating the less you play the more you have a chance at loot. You think your doing the right thing by logging on and doing your homework like we've all been taught through school. However your not rewarded for your time. That was clear by all the exotics we had to relevel and all the resets we paid for at dlc release. The horrible commondation process where I leveled my crucible and vanguard like I was supposed to. It didn't matter. Getting your 32 raid gear doesn't matter. 33 will be vendor gear by house of wolves. Vendor gear which beats your actual raid gear you earned. Tell me how that works? Long story short I'll get bashed for this post and I personally don't care. I'm straight frustrated with his game right now. From the ai down to the crucible. yeah I suck at crucible all you players in the top 1% on destiny tracker won't hesitate to let anyone know that people in the top 25% suck lol and I need to #gitgud. No I'm not here to start shit w anyone. I'm venting my frustrations with this game in hopes that destiny becomes the game we ALL want it to be. From mmo backgrounds, to fps backgrounds, to rpg backgrounds. Everyone here has a different expectation of this game and this is why some don't agree. Disagreeing shouldn't be the reason tempers flare and people get nasty. Asking someone their background and other things they've experienced in forum has a lot to do w how much they will tolerate in regards to certain aspects of the game. Ask and kindly disagree. There's nothing wrong with a little discourse about making the game better or throwing some ideas around.

The Bungie dot Net community does have an incredibly vocal and toxic minority. Most players in game are not like this. Go to the destiny subreddit and its a much more positive and supportive community. If someone makes a post here and states that they believe that there are issues with destiny, these toxic ass hats jump down their throat and tell them to f off as bungie can not do wrong. On Destiny reddit, its a completely different story. The issue I have is that I am a gaming father, so have very little precious time to play. Last night I spent over an hour looking for a Hard mode CE. And has absolutely no success what so ever. Now I am a level 32 warlock with a full set of 331 weapons including a Gjallarhorn, it really should not be this hard to find a game. I gave up after an hour and soloed the lamps with what little time I had left to play. I don't think raid matchmaking would work, but an in game LFG is vital for this games survival in the community. Because at the moment, getting an LFG group together is very difficult, especially for hard mode. There are two reasons for this, level 32's are still relatively rare. Legit 32's who actually know what the hell they are doing are even rarer. I have played with 32's who had no idea how to do the bridge legit and had never done crota legit either.

This is a shocking community. Full of moaners, whiners, rude people, sexists, racists and megalomaniacs. There are a handful of lovely, helpful people mixed in, but most of the time they are overshadowed by the arseholes. I've pretty much stopped posting things now because I always get replies calling me stupid, or a noob, or taking digs for not being a level 32... And the worst one personally for me, criticising my gameplay because I'm female. This forum sucks sweaty arse crack!

Why is it so hard to join a random group? Been on recruitment for a while and no replies. I'm guessing it's cause I've not done hard yet but come on it's only been out a week and a half. Pfffft :(
