Crota's End "Updated" Loot System
So this is my rant to bungie in hopes of a response as to how this loot table is supposed to work honestly. I read that they "changed" the loot system for Crota's End in which it would be "smarter" and "remember" what we got, we'll I think that's complete BS. I have completed the entire Crota Raid on all three of my characters each week since it's release, and it seems that I have not encountered this "smart" loot table yet. My warlock has gotten overall 3 raid chests and 2 boots. My titan has gotten 4 raid gloves and a pair of boots, and my hunter took 2 weeks to just got one piece of gear. Okay fine i'm not asking to be handed every gear instantly (apart from the fact it seems like everyone else is being handed them) so let me move on to Crota's drops. Last week on two of my characters i got a 2 Radiant Energy, nothing else, just two energy. Okay cool thanks next week my smart loot table will compensate me, so i just went and cleared Crota on my Warlock (my main, hoping since i have yet to get the gloves, maybe my helm will drop and I can hit 32 on at least one character) and what do i get? 2 Radiant Energy, are you serious? How does this make any sense, like two weeks in a row i have gotten a total of 4 energy from killing crota? I don't get it, i really don't...
If anyone from Bungie sees this I just am looking for an explanation as to what this "updated" loot system is that was apparently implemented because I just don't see it

1 回覆I just beat Crota on hard twice and got the helm both times and I've already had about 4 of them.

I feel your pain... I play with 2 Titans, so essentially get to do the raid twice per week. So far I have acquired a total of 7 arm pieces and 4 or 5 boots. That's it for armor. 9 Crota kills without a helm and somewhere around 13-14 incomplete runs (without doing crota) and no chest... I mean... really?!?! How many arms and legs does bungie think i have?

1 回覆What are you talking about scrub? You have at least 2 pieces on every character including the helmet on Titan and hunter... Maybe bungie should pull an Oprah and give you a car for your next run as well.

So far it appears it only pays attention to what you have gotten in that session. I have yet to see anyone get two of the same piece in the same session, but I pretty reliably have gotten gloves from the first part on my main.

1 回覆I think warlocks are just broken in general. I've gotten nothing but energy from the raid on him. But better drops on my main and Titan.

3 pairs of leg armor and chestpieces. Crota gave shards last night. 2. My first raid was the only one worth a shit. Black Hammer and Light of the Abyss were gotten then. The first chest has been my only hope and gave me Suros and Truth a week apart.

Have run Crota's End every week on all three titans. My results : 6 Gloves 5 Boots X Shards and energy Meanwhile people in my regular group who just started playing less than a month ago have at least 3 pieces and 2 more have a full set of all four! Starting to think about giving up on this as I really don't want to go into yet another hard mode raid underleveled like I had to for VoG. Definitely feeling like the gearing system is not nearly smart enough and needs to pay much closer attention. Further note.... If the cycle for this X-pack is to be roughly 3 months like the original game then there are only 16 chances to actually run the raid. Bungie, please consider this as many people will not have completed all content in your current raid (in terms of loot) before you trivialize it.

not just you man. Me and 3 other friends have helped people run the raid and those people we have helped are equipped as good as us if not better. I have gloves, boots and black hammer. 4.5 runs so far. I've seen people get the helmet on their first time killing Crota and one of them wasn't even alive when the kill took place, maybe I should die before he does? lol.

Bungie say: "Loot system in Crota's end raid is better" Sorry bungie but you lie.... I explain: Why is it always the same part of players since Atheon who drop the best or rare gear? Why is it always the other part of players since Atheon who drop only materials? Why are all players drop always the same thing ? (All players) Exemple: -A friend was dropped ALL best gear on atheon in few times AND he drop ALL best gear on Cropta too... -For me, I must remake and remake Raid and Characters for what? Only materials.... 3 weeks and 2 Characters per weeks for just materials.... -For me and my friend, We drop always the same thing... He have two helmet per characters, 3 Rocket launcher and 3 snipers... i have 2 fusion rifle, 2 snipers.. 2 gauntlets per characters ect........... Bungie, your loot system are not = between players... If you make a better loot system... Give the same luck for all players... i'm bored to spend all my time for nothing. And when the "lucky guys" will drop all gears they don't help other players and we finish alone for the raid... Thank you bungie. i remember the slogan of Destiny: "Be a legends" But a legend must be the best, not the luckiest... Make anything please for your players

I got sh*t on every week on VOG and nightfall while my friends get the good stuff. I finally had luck with Crota on my 2 warlocks. I managed to get Boots, chest and gloves in the 3 times I have done the raid. Literally 1 in a million with the luck i have in this game. Like some of you it makes me want to quit but also makes me keep trying because "i know this week I'll get lucky". It really is like a poor Vegas gambler mentality.

Lol we all know how you feel but just to make you feel better I have beat the raid twice on my only hunter and got all 3 pieces. Just need about 40 radiant energy to get to 32 so you should be grateful of the energy as you will need every one of them :)

3 回覆If this game was on PC only, I have a feeling there would be way less whining. No you aren't going to get a full set and all the weapons in 2 or 3 weeks. Be realistic.

1 回覆The idea of that is so that you can "possibly" obtain your gear faster. I got boots and gloves for 3 weeks each time on two characters. Then In one run I obtained the chest and helmet. Much faster than VoG by far.

2 回覆Agreed with you I just ran 2 raids and guess what I got in crota's end -.- 2 freaking energies TWICE nothing else, no weapon no nothing, NOTHING AT ALL! While everyone on my team is getting EXOTIC LOOT! I do not understand this freaking piece of crap system they have. I have only been getting repeated stuff on nightfall and everywhere else, while my "Friends" get new pieces... maybe bungie is like OH LOOK AT THAT DUMBELL! Let's give them a piece of crap as gift for playing... maybe I should not have wasted my money on the Limited edition and just bought a regular used edition instead -.-

1 回覆It's not really "better" or "smarter". Bungie simply twisted the truth in explaining the Crota loot table. All they did was remove the chance for weapons on the loot drops up to Crota. This means that anytime you would have gotten a gun in VoG, you would now have gotten a piece of armor in Crota, which makes it the same drop chance but you now see armor drop more frequently. As for the "smart" aspect...there is nothing that is remembering or knowing what dropped for you. In four (4) fully completed Crota raids, my Titan has received 4 pairs of gloves and 3 chests...still no boots. I have a Warlock and Hunter who completed the raid each time too...they both received 3-4 gloves and 3-4 chests, but at least I got boots for them last night. I still think they should just use a commendation/mark system that is earned via the raid and used to buy pieces. It makes the most sense.
