Frustrated and ready to quit
As a solo gamer, I enjoy the peace and quiet of destroying worlds myself. That works great, except in Destiny. To achieve endgame strength, you must depend on the help of 5 others..... After adding 50+ strangers to my friends list in the last month and begging and pleading for me to tag along, I STILL HAVE YET TO FINISH AN EASY RAID. I'm Frustrated with the whole process. Seems no one wants a weak lvl 28 warlord bringing them down.... SMH... Now, tomorrow, an expansion pack I'm sure will make it worse, as it's more great gear for teams and nothing for us solo folks.
I'm done. Quit. And I don't want to, but if all I have to look forward to is being owned in the Iron Banner and patrols on the moon, there's no point in me wasting my time.
My copy of Destiny is now for sale. Reply if you want it.

There are lots of people to play with, I am only a 29 hunter and people still play with me, even when I was 28. Normal raid is very doable at 28. Add me and we can find some peeps to play with. Just listen to the vets and do your job, he raid will be toast.

You know... Most people make good arguments for why this dlc is a ripoff, why destiny falls short on almost every traditional game criteria, or why they are quitting. But this is just "boo hoo nobody wants to play with me, so why can't I play by myself." Wanna join a football team but people don't wanna play with you? To bad... you can't play a team game by yourself. One thing Destiny never pretended about was that a lot of the end game would require a team.

21 回覆Suckers! I never did buy the DLC. I woke up this morning with a little doubt in my mind that I was missing out. Not so mucccchhhhh. I was elated to discover this new DLC was of course a failure. This is a great discovery. I knew Bungie would shit the bed. Regards, ApolloMack

I understand how you feel, i like playing solo most of the time but your right bungie seem determined to reward playing with a group and make it difficult for solo players. Cant see why they don't scale their missions properly and why there is no avenue to get the best gear playing solo. Why not have something as challenging as a raid with just as good rewards for solo players?

But yeah don't quit man, there's nothing else to play, I was fully solo player stuck at 26, never done nightfall, solo the weeklys, then one day I walked into the raid on patrol and got invited, never looked back man, raid and nightfall is my thing now and I got to 30, got another character to 29 and that's after I deleted my 26 titan (female of course), you are missing the best parts of the game, do you play on xb1?

4 回覆Yes, an expansion pack that will allow you to buy lvl 30 gear, increase the levels of your existing weapons, and increase the level of your existing armor, but you'll be stuck at lvl 28? The only reason you will stay that lvl after the expansion is because you chose to stay that lvl.

7 回覆Your tears are delicious!!!! But realy. Im only 28, i can solo everything but the raid. U need raid to raid hard only realy. Plus in expansion you can get 30 solo. So cheer up little guy! Or go play a different game

4 回覆Seems its only going to get worse for Solo Wolves. There's Witcher 3 coming and Dragon's Age out already. Also check out No Man's Sky. That seems a Lone Wolf's fantasy come true.
