Yeah, the custom shader idea would be cool, but I also realize that it's sort of how MMORPGs generally work. Cool looking armor or costumes all cost adventure, challenge, and a lot of time played, so when you get certain looks people are supposed to be impressed and or envious. Kind of like the Katana in "Halo 3" before everyone played long enough to all get one, not to mention when all the extra achievement came out... But yeah, I think when you hit a certain level, you should be able to get a custom shader. It could be like an exotic shader that, when you get it, allows you to choose the color scheme. And maybe the catch would be, you can only design the shader once, then, if you change your mind, you have to find a new one. If it's sold by Xur, it should cost a lot of coins or motes or both, and should require a very high level, so at least there's some pride in the shader. I don't know if Bungie would have the guts to ask people to pay to get something there's already such a high demand for. It'd probably anger a lot of fans. But still. I just want variety!
