Elemental Damage

If you haven't figured it out by now, there is a purpose behind the elemental damage. Turns out certain enemies are weak to certain elements. It's only relevant to shielded enemies and the color of their shield. So I'll be specific about which enemy is weak to what: [b]Fallen Captains are weak to Arc. Hive Wizards are weak to Solar. Vex Minotaurs are weak to Void.[/b] This includes any source of damage such as melee and grenades. Diversity is recommended in the event you run a Strike that has more than one type of species. For example, if you are queued for the "Archon Priest" Strike, equip an Arc Special Weapon and a Void Heavy Weapon. It could also be vice versa but considering Heavy Weapons are rarer than Special and there are more Captains than Minotaurs, this setup is the most optimal. Now that you know this, it should help you run through strikes more efficiently and effectively. Safe journey, Guardians.
