What Bungie Really meant

Well, I've discovered it. What they truly meant by the game lasting 10 years, is that over the next few years they'll be adding in everything that the game should of had at launch. In other words, they've given us a fraction of the game. I'm sure most of it is finished, but bungie, like other companies who used to be awesome (cough cough* Activision), has finally decided to sell out. It's depressing I know... But we have to face the facts that bungie doesn't care about us anymore. What happened to all that extra stuff we saw in the trailer that had already been in the game? Bungie turned it into dlc to squeeze a few extra dollars out of us come holiday season. In the meantime to keep us playing, they took the story missions and multiplayer and gave them different names to ruse us into thinking we'll achieve something by participating in their "events". It's like your childhood friend giving you an apology gift for something wrong they did, then when you unwrap the present, you see it's something you already had (of no real sentiment). You shrug it off, force a smile and go home thinking "well it's the thought that counts" only to arrive home and realize that the thing you already owned has mysteriously gone missing from the shelf where it's sat for the past 3 years... But to reel it back in, bungie's playing us all for fools... Smh while they just money grub in the background. I'm sure, in 10 years and about $300 later, we'll have the game we were promised on that fateful day, the 9th of the 9th... With every awesome idea I've seen during my time amongst you all in the forums. The only person I feel remorse for, aside from all of us who were promised the game of all games, is DeeJ. He alone has to shoulder all the disappointment from fans and try his best to avert our attention to the"changes" to the game they've made and away from Bungie's business strategy. We know you're not truly a sell out DeeJ, it's just your job to be one. And finally the saddest point, the only people who really got to enjoy what an amazing game destiny is despite all its flaws, are those of us who played from the launch through the first week. That feeling of madness in a public event as The fallen and Hive spawned relentlessly to destroy the Warsat as Guardians nearby rushed to your aid. Just a random ragtag group of 9 guardians at LVL 12-15 facing hordes of armored LVL 18 enemies, bangin out on the battlefield... I go on patrol now as a LVL 29 warlock and no ones there, not a single fireteam. I've even been in a lobby where there were literally only 2 other people patrolling. Will the glory days of destiny really be defined by just that first week? Will we really have to wait 10 years to see the game we were rooting for to be the best of all time? Maybe it's all too ironic... We all looked at the game and saw what lied ahead, a golden age of Video Games with Destiny and Bungie at the forefront... But no one saw the threat of this darkness all around us... Then one day, it just all came to an end... Your Fellow Guardian, Orajin
