I believe they should allow unearned marks to carry over from week to week. Here's why: I'm fairly sure that I'm not the only person that has an odd schedule, some weeks I will have an absurd amount of free time and sometimes I will be lucky to squeeze in enough sleep. It's never a good idea to assume but given all the survey data that has been published in regards to the various age groups that play games I think it's safe to say that adults make up the majority. With that being said I believe it would only be fair to allow a rollover of unearned marks. That would give people, like myself, an opportunity to catch up when my schedule allows me to do so. Even if we disregard age and responsibility I still believe it would only be fair to everyone if they rollover. I'm sure some of you are sitting there thinking "they have playlists that make levels and gear irrelevant". While that may be true Bungie will be adding playlists from time to time that will make levels and gear relevant. The only alternative I see for this would be in game micro transactions and to be quite honest that would be horrible. By allowing unearned marks to rollover week to week everything would be fair, if they go the micro transaction route it would not be fair.
