I mean, why get rid of the best feature of Halo Reach? Every time I would play Halo Reach, I would pick the armor lock loadout because, let's be honest, armor lock was genius! It added a whole new level of tactics to Halo that was never seen before. Please, Bungie, armor lock should be in Destiny. It should be a mandatory armor ability in the Crucible, where it can be used to its fullest extent. Also, you guys should get rid of that stupid usage bar. Armor lock should have unlimited usage, so that people will have to employ even greater tactics!
As a proficient eSports player myself, I have always found armor lock to be a useful tool for both me and my opponents.
Please, Bungie. Put armor lock in Destiny!

I don't know, man...if there was an armor lock, it might be helpful, especially in the crucible, but you'd be too over powered. While playing PVP, your supers would render useless. People would constantly use it and regain health. It just wouldn't be fun. And in exploration/the story of Destiny, it'd be too easy. Doing strikes and other activities, it just wouldn't be fun anymore. If there was to be an armor lock, it certainly shouldn't be unlimited. Maybe for a brief second to avoid a super. But even then you would have to time it just right.

The amount of ps kids on this thread that don't know what armor lock is pains me. Spend the last few days till launch playing a Halo campaign. Then you have my permission to play Destiny.

I prefer Destiny implementing custom classes. It worked so well in Halo 4, why not? And I also agree with the armor lock! That's a superb idea! I also think Bungie should add in a weapon that insta-kills (excluding the Golden Gun)! It would be awesome to run around the map, and hear a signaling sound that shows the weapon has spawned, and it only spawns once. It's an auto rifle with an instantaneous 450 bullets in it, with 150 bullets per clip. It would also give a little extra health, considering it's such a powerful weapon.
