Why should you get a free reset on skills when you respawn? What purpose would that even serve? Learn to use your skills wisely and aim properly. That way nothing feels like it is being wasted. Why should you get free ammo for dying? Promotes camping in a corner with a shotgun like a shitlord IMO.

  • I completely agree with you. The crucible is fine how it is. If people aren't skilled enough to enjoy or win the way it is now they shouldn't play it.

  • Possibly nerf the warlocks grenade slightly, and increase the rate of fire for pulse rifles. Other than that there really isn't that much that's overpowered as of right now.

  • That doesn't promote a level playing field. Let's say I spawn in with special ammo like the game currently stands and sit in a corner crouched with a shotgun the entire match. Then I die once and my ammo is replenished and I never need to move from that spot. The idea is nice for casual gameplay but in competitive PVP it just doesn't make sense. If you want a truly balanced game mode there would be no special ammo on start and it would completely drop everytime you die. Easily separating skilled players from lower rated ones in a balanced system.

  • First off im not saying you should start with a lot of secondary ammo, only one clip which is like 5 shotgun shells. Whats the point of spawning in with no ammo on your secondary? what use is a gun without bullets. Secondly camping is a legitimate strategy, it may be douchey to camp corners with a shotgun but it works. And finally, a competitive arena shooter should have you respawn with the exact same loadout every single time. Thats just how competitive shooters work

  • Never mind, I can't have this conversation with you. That logic was garbage. You're asking for CoD in a game that isn't CoD. You're asking to have your hand held over something so trivial as walking 5 feet to a special ammo box. Camping a point is a strategy absolutely, but at the end of the day it just proves who can and can't frag. Bringing that over to slayer or a game mode similar to that and it will get stomped every time.
