You'd think people would just vote out politicians they disapprove of. Guess the public is too stupid to do research on candidates before they vote.
Oh well, I'll grab the popcorn.

They public doesn't even know they can vote out elected officials. But it's sad, and scary, that so many uneducated people are allowed to vote. Everytime I watch Kimmel's Lie Witness News "skit" I just fear for America

If they get more support then the other 2 parties will make it more difficult for the 3rd party candidate to get anywhere. They already impose acts that give a smaller time window for 3rd parties to register to get on the ballot, and they don't allow them to come to national conventions/presidential debates. If they started getting more press, then they would have their media networks attack them and their backers would spend millions on ads mud-slinging the 3rd party candidate. A 3rd party candidate winning a single state is unlikely, winning enough states to be able to win the election, and getting enough votes from the electoral college(composed of the members of the 2 parties) is really just impossible.

I'm not denying most people being dumb. However, when it comes to 3rd party candidates it's pretty much not gonna happen. Why? All of the corporations and rich people give millions and millions to who they want to see as president: funding. All while the 3rd party candidates or anyone who wants to make the necessary changes only get support from middle class and far less rich people. It's all about money. This country already has an unfair distribution of wealth. Some people want to keep it that way, and they have all the money to spend.
