I'd prefer ballistic, except without bullet drop. I'd like to have to lead my target through my sniper scope without having to solve quadratic equations in my head to compensate for wind speed, Coreolis effect, and gravity. Using a sniper at range in Bf4 is next to impossible unless you spend hours practicing or use a range finder.

BF4's ballistic style sniping was really on point in my opinion. There is just something super satisfying about lining up a shot from across the map and letting the enemy literally run face first into it. With enough practice its just timing of travel time and drop, the system does not go into to much more.

You're probably right, but the counter-statement is where's the fun in the other way. I'd rather have Destiny be always fun than always challenging. Always fun and challenging is the ideal, but if I can only have one, I'll pick fun.

Am I not understanding something? With hitscan, say your target us running perpendicular to you, all you have to do is line the crosshairs up on his head and pull the trigger. With ballistic, you have to aim for where his head will be by the time the bullet gets there. That's what I would prefer, but without the added hassle of bullet drop. Am I understanding that right?
