I'll throw something together for a fellow game developer.
What positions you got occupied? My team is already helping some guys in Canada, if you need anything don't be afraid to shoot me a PM

Our "leader" is a programmer. We are a team of ten right now. People don't understand why we don't get along very well a lot of times, but then again people don't have to deal with him everyday. He has a massive ego. Massive.

Well sometimes people deserve the ego they have, you'll often catch me praising my programmer of his absolute brilliance and he deserves every word of it, but if someone has an unjust attitude towards the rest of the company they need to be brought down a notch. People know what they know and don't know what they don't an indie studio absolutely needs that mutual belief and support of bettering each other. I am the owner of my studio and my team has to push me to be controlling. I don't like being "over" them, but we all need direction. Is he a good manager? since you guys are fairly young in this I could try to talk to him about business strategies. He needs to be a good leader first and a programmer second not everyone takes place in the development process

He is... meh. Kind of an ass, but I'm working on it. I'm trying to get him to see everyone else's point of view as well as his own, however he doesn't seem to get that the world doesn't revolve around him. He thinks he needs to be the judge, jury, and executioner on every decision in every area, not just programming. He also has this ridiculous idea that there needs to be some hierarchy that controls everything, when there is only 10 people and there is no need for heads of each department (design, art, programming, etc). Here's the catch though. He openly said that in the event of an argument between a head and anyone else, he will side with the head every time. And then he elected the heads himself, without everyone's consent. I was a head, and then he decided that I argue with him good points too often and make him look silly, so he appointed a new head of design. Honestly he is a terrible leader and I would impeach him in a heartbeat, but he is also "owns" the studio so that will never happen.
