Title says it all really. Do you think Microsoft are rushing the games? Quantity > Quality?

Ever since I was waiting for Halo 2 info I have been an impatient Halo fan. I am happy yes, but the development time is less than we've had for every other Halo game. Lets just hope it will all surprise and be amazing.

I hope they make it good (impossible task for 343i)but even if it is bad, I still will preorder the limited edition(if they make such a thing.)I have and will always love Halo, even if the multiplayer is cod. The single player is what I mostly love about Halo. The multiplayer is amazing, but I love the deep and rich story of Halo more. I just hope it comes out like it wasn't rushed **cough** Halo 4 **cough**

由Spartan Ken 15編輯: 1/9/2014 4:33:12 AMI bought a PS4, so no. I also am a HUGE Halo fan but 343i dropped the ball hard. The Xbone didn't help either. Halo has jumped the shark and is dying a slow, painful death. 343i has shown total incompetence in making a worthy successor to Halo 3 and the rest of the series. The generic gimmicks and shameful marketing (Doritos/mountain dew commercials, etc) are the true downfall of the series. 343i doesn't seem to care as long as the game can appeal to the broadest, casual crows possible.

There is literally no way anybody can answer this question. We have seen nothing and know nothing about the game outside of the fact that John is the protagonist. With next-gen hardware and a full compliment of employees numbering over 300, who is to say that two and a bit years is 'too short' for development time? We don't even know how long the game has been in development, Microsoft allegedly started handing out next gen dev kits to developers as early as January of 2012 and you can bet that 343 was one of the first to get their hands on it - as well as the fact that they've been sewing the seeds of the narrative for the Reclaimer Saga since 2009 and started talking about the story they were going to tell back when they were formed in 2007. So when it comes to writing the story, they have a solid idea of what they're doing and where they're going compared to Bungie who improvised the whole thing because they didn't know they were going to do a Halo 2 and then just decided to rewrite the last few hours of Halo 2's cut third act to make a whole new game. Again, until we actually see the finished product there is no way I can take anybody seriously who is saying that the game is being rushed. There are too many variables here and I'm going out on a limb here by saying that nobody here knows jack shit about actually working at 343...

Yes and No Yes - Because I get it sooner. No - It is probably going to be like lolcodcloneHalo4 which is unfinished and rushed.

I know that the moment MS completely controlled Halo that they would use it to compete with CoD. However that seems to be failing.
