If it's a popular game, cloud sharing won't be enough to stop people from buying it. Take CoD, for example: two people can't be playing the multiplayer on separate accounts at the same time. Nor can someone else from the sharing pool be playing the game. People want to be able to play games at their convenience, and sharing isn't a replacement for owning a game. Same thing with single-player games, too. Limiting sales of used games, on the other hand, will force players to buy new.
yeah i understand that there are always people who buy new games upon release but for those who don't care so much and would potentially get a used game now would there be just chance of them just waiting till one of their inner circle of "family" has it and get it for free. Its just cutting out the middleman (stores who profit from used games). There must be a way which game developers could get more profit than this method :S not that i care for their loss i am just baffled haha
The plan didn't even really have time to be explained. I imagine there would've been limits on the feature. Say, perhaps share a game with 10 friends for a week, and then youd have to wait a month before doing it again or something. Not sure, but none of us can be. I have no idea why everyone thinks it meant 1 game = 10 people playing it. Like honestly, use your heads guys.
