Finally going to build my own computer

I'm wanting something that can easily handle multiple servers (web, database, etc...) running concurrently, IDEs like Visual Studio and NetBeans, Virtualisation with VMWare (and possibly a VM server), regular stuff like web browsing, email clients, etc... and possibly gaming. I'm also looking to play with overclocking (hence the choice of CPU/motherboard) and have room for expansion in the future. I'm not as well-versed on the hardware side (especially in regard to gaming setups) as I am with software, so here's what I have so far. Suggestions are very much welcome. I already have or can get without any hassles. No recommendations for pre-built computers though; I want to get my hands dirty.
