I especially agree with the part where you state: "I do not care about marathon" If they want the next update to cook more in the oven, that's fine by me, because renegades was a bit lacking story wise, in both length, and narration Some clever guardian will be like, "that's what she said" Ha ha ha ha ha, you are so very funny, and useful -_-

5 回覆Nobody cares about marathon, but if that’s the hill Bungie is wants to bet their company and die on then so be it. Dunno what it’ll take Sony to just come in and reboot Bungie.

If they need more time to polish the expansion & reduce bugs & stuff... fine, I'm with that. But delaying Destiny so that they can prioritize Marathon is a stupid business decision. If they release Marathon first, then release Shadow & Order, ppl are just gonna leave Marathon in its first weeks, to go play the Destiny expansion that they probably already paid for (with Year of Prophecy). They should delay Marathon, release Shadow & Order as planned, with some free Marathon-inspired cosmetics to get ppl hyped... wait till everyone rushes thru the expansion & starts complaining about not having enough content, then release Marathon to suck all those ppl in. It literally makes the most sense financially.

Delay away. I’m not interested in Marathon and the next D2 season won’t be able to crutch Star Wars to get through it. The game needs more than one game mode to grind for six months, and Bungie can’t keep up with one game much less two. Delay D2, drop Marathon off in the toilet and go back to the drawing board with whoever they don’t fire when Marathon drops.

3 回覆lol by the last two dlc’s it’s pretty ordinary and won’t get better . Loads of people will jump across to marathon including streamers as expected .

1 回覆Im not into extraction nor Marathon, but i must say the demo they showed look polished and solid. The gameplay is fluid and nervous and the gunfight seems to have all the good stuff that made Destiny great. Also, we are a months away from the release, for a game that was pushed 6 months, with significant expectations from both Sony and the players. I wouldn’t surprised if it’s all hands on deck at the moment, in a last crunch effort before the release, and some D2 ressources were temporarily reassigned. I also wouldn’t be surprised if they wait for Marathon commercial performance to be known before committing on a roadmap for D2. To be seen tomorrow when the TWID release, if it’s another nothing burger.

2 回覆Destiny isn’t the main focus, live with that. just as cod games get eclipsed by a new one every other year, it’s d2’s time

2 回覆we can only hope marathon not as buggy as destiny 2 is because if so that’s allot of fixing an maintenance while running two different games. 💯

2 回覆由Dragokin編輯: 1/22/2026 6:59:50 AM... Don't delay release it now and it's going to be a buggy mess I would rather wait and have it be not buggy... if it releases all buggy everyone's going to complain and then they're going to be like oh I'm quitting destiny if it's buggy... And it's the same people that go into tirades about not having content and wanting it released now... pick a lane or go find something else to play and give the devs a chance to actually work on the game... game development's not magic people... Le rant
