Streamers/influencers ruined this game years ago it's not a recent thing.
The game has been garbage since lightfall.
Their ideas and opinions have shaped the game into what it is and what it's once thriving community has become and yet they take absolutely no responsibility for the state of the game.
They even go as far as to blame YOU the community for being toxic ( side looking you datto you little weasel)
Now alot of them are jumping ship and going to try and find other games to ruin and try to take their viewers with them.
They truly don't care about what's best for any game or community at large, they care about views and money in the bank.
My advice is to steer clear of any content creators and their channels that play games for a living unless they are purely release review based or instructional/guides.
If they play or stream games for a living their opinions and ideas are completely bias and always will be , particularly if they only main the one game.
Their livleyhood is dependant on the game catering to their needs and wants and how much content they can squeeze out of it.

How did they ruin the game. Examples would help, not just opinions because you dont like or envy streamer/youtubers. I see this statement ALL the time but NEVER any proof, examples other than "this guy got this nerfed etc". Thats not proof. Thats what people think happened. I would really like to see some actual proof. If not, then maybe it not those guys fault but bungie trying to satisfy one group and then making the other group mad. Bungie will NEVER make everyone happy.

Proof? What is this a court of law. If you want reference material there's thousands of hours on YouTube. I'll give you one example. My post gathered 12 likes and two direct replies your included. So my opinion didn't really influence anyone's thoughts or opinions. Now we will use azztecross as an example, his last video gained 88k views. How many people do you think he swayed or influenced their outlook on the game. Don't be so nieve to think that everybody is capable of not being influenced or thinking for themselves, thats why they are called influencers and thats why companies LOVE them. They have the power to reach millions and they can wield that power how ever they please. It's all in the name you see, let me say it again influencer. Clearly you are easily influenced, to jump to the defence of a complete bunch of strangers that wouldn't look twice at you in the street over little old me and my unfounded comments and opinions Next time I'll be sure to confer with my legal team and ascertain the correct "proof"

So thats a no. You just come of angry and jealous. I dont run defence. I dont give a -blam!- about creators or "influensors". I just wanted to know if you were correct and i now know you are not. Dont be coy, you know what i mean by proof you wierdo. I was trying to have an honest conversation but that is impossible here i see. Your answer has nothing to do with my post, just trying to deflect. But since you used aztecross i will agree that bungie only listen to creators if they announce D3 or Destiny classic. Will not be back here, no honesty and nothing to gain from this convo. Bye

Not debating with you if you can't understand why their opinions are more bias than your average player that plays for entertainment value and someone who plays to support their livleyhood then this discussion/debate will go around in circles.

I mean every opinion is biased in some sense. But streamers have biased opinions that will help them and maybe a very small population of players, solely due to the need of views. But a random forum person has the opinion of an avg player maybe someone who doesn't have as much time as a streamer, so their opinions will probably be more biased for the wider playerbase.

Once, was a long time ago. They all advocate for a long grind or crazy difficulty for no reason, except to get people to watch them. Again they don't care about the majority of the game they only care about what will get them views. As u can see after people stopped watching, due to the bad changes they all jumped ship to try to build their variety viewerbase.
-
There's the solution then: Stop watching them, they leave, and Bungie stops listening to them. Of course, that would mean people would need to stop talking about streamers and providing links to their content on here as well, but I can't see that happening. Bottom line, players created the problem they're complaining about and aren't willing to do anything to fix it.

Bot really the devs should understand their playerbase. They shouldn't have to rely on anyone to be a 'community leader'. It's pretty easy to understand that you have a large casual playerbase that wants to shoot the aliens and then u have a very small hardcore playerbase that wants everything to be super difficult and grindy. That's why we had a strike playlist and gms. Regular raids vs master raids same with dungeons. They are tuning the game in the wrong direction. They need to make master raid like old hard mode raids and change mechanics. The portal would be fine if it was a feature and not the focus.
